So, now what?

We transported nitroglycerine across canyons. We crossed crocodile pits. We built snowmen. We made mountains of greetings cards. We were frequently mortified by some of our own assumptions and sometimes buoyed by unexpected strengths. We fired barrages of questions about motivation at poor Bente, the only 'green' in the group. And we pretty much agreed to regroup at the Ashridge Alumni summer barbeque in July to compare notes.

But what about the bit in between?

Barbara mentioned that one of her special interests is the transfer of knowledge back into the workplace. Not an easy thing to track, particularly if you're dealing with 20-odd groups of 20 people every year.

And I reckon every one of us is much more likely to put theory into practice and follow through on the action plans if everyone else is watching. Not to mention the fact that second opinions are handy from time to time and taking the mickey is sometimes (only sometimes) a healthy thing.

("Can you tell what it is yet?")

I'm suggesting we blog a bit. Not daily. Just enough to let everyone else know how we're doing, what we've tried and what's worked. Enough to keep us all honest. Enough to let your teammates know that you listened to the feedback!

Speaking of which, Steve, Justin, James, I managed an entire ten-minute meeting without interrupting once yesterday; you'd have been proud. Mind you, it was with my boss....

Oh, and I was planning to send Barbara the URL.
